Mother's furious Facebook taunt 'before she suffocated 18-month-old twins and tried to poison third child in rage at husband's affair'

A 41-year-old mother, furious at her husband's affair with a family member, is accused of taking revenge on him by drowning their 18-month-old twins Adam and Eve (right) and attempting to poison their four-year-old sister. The heartbreaking picture on the left shows the moment one of the toddlers was carried from Stacey Smalls's home in Tacony, Philadelphia. Smalls, who also tried to kill herself, had earlier put a picture (centre) on her Facebook profile - which she uploaded from the internet - of a car scrawled with the words 'Hope she was worth it', a clear nod to her husband's alleged affair.
