What's up with leather shirts

Still on the toilet seat......
A new trend emerging .......
LEather shirts
Yeah if you've notice many young boys these days are wearing it
Personally I think it's kinda a cool idea .....
I first encountered leather shirts in the hot markets of onitcha I hoped the concept will stay and die there
To my surprise it seems the evil vermin has crawled into the heart of the nigerian male youth hmmm
Evry where u go
Evry mall in Lagos
Every cinema etc
Leather shirts

My issue with it is te heat problem
These shirts will be good in Russia or Canada or somewhere in the North Pole but not in Nigeria .....
Biko have u guys felt the heat ..... Wow well I guess it's fashion and it's versatile so let me
Shut up my big mouth and see if the male African youth will escape from this evil spell of leather shirts
........feel free to leave your comment

?Are TIMBERLANDS Making a come back

So I just sat down on the toilet sit
And as I looked into the deep of empty nothingness I decided to have a flashback of school / before this little winter break ....
I realized something I missed ... Timberlands
Yeahhhh remember them late 99 to 2003 ish period we'll they are beginning so surface everywhere you turn these days from Lagos to port harcourt to Abuja even sokoto boys are now having a craving for Timberlands

An original one can set u back like 50 to 70k
But don't fear dear readers for u can get em cheap at your local BSB ((benson select boutique)) hahahhahaha for about 7k
Leave your comment and tell me what u think

Have YOU SEEN THE BURNER BOY GLASSES

Well it's a cool concept
Nice shape

Enjoy the show!

Bringing his own inimitable brand of comedy to legendary comedy venue Parker’s Comedy & Jive (@ParkersComedy), Basketmouth, a.k.a. Bright Okpocha, is the leading light of the Nigerian comedy scene, making waves around the globe with his free-flowing storytelling and enthusiastic comedic performances.  Basketmouth’s profile has never been higher, with huge demand for his comedy gigs both at home and internationally, including an upcoming tour of Europe in April 2013.  When he’s not touring, you can regularly find Basketmouth presiding over the comedic chaos at MTV Base’s late night TV show, The Big Friday Show (MTV Base, DStv Channel 322), a joyous mash up of music, comedy, celebrities, pranks and news.

California native, Arlen “Griff” Griffin fulfilled a lifetime ambition to become a comedian after starting out at three years old entertaining patients at the convalescent homes where his mother worked.  After working the geriatric circuit for a couple of summers, Griffin’s destiny was settled and he has since made a name for himself as one of the leading comedians and on-air personalities in the USA, where he regularly opens for acts such as Beyoncé, New Edition, Mo’Nique, D.L. Hughley, Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin, Dottie Peoples, Mary Maryand more.

Chris Mapane is a South African comedian who has been on the comedy scene for around 7 years, thanks to his extremely infectious energy and powerful on-stage presence.  Mapane’sstar started shining back in the days when he mentored So You Think You Are Funnycontestants, which led to being on the same stage with the likes of Terry Pheto and Lira,BrandyRegina King and Vivica A Fox at the SA Sports Awards.  His skills earned him anIkusasa Comedian of the Year nomination in 2012 as well as the opportunity to host the Olympics sendoff event for the South African Swimming Team and the Telkom Foundation “Beacon Of Hope” event, to mention just a few.  Featured in Destiny Man’s Power of 40, Mapane has recently tried his hand at acting, featuring in the David Kau directed film Taxi Ride, where he plays the lead.

A product of the Cape Comedy Collective's Comedy Lab workshops, Mel Jones burst into the limelight with signature confidence and sexy style.  This single mother brings her perspective as a young Capetonian woman looking in vain for “Mr.  Right”, to the great amusement and enlightenment of all.  Jones was fondly received at the Spier Amphitheatre only 6 short weeks after doing her very first open mic slot at the Cape Comedy Club.  Since then, you may have seen her on SABC 3's Comedy Showcase and the Phat Joe Show.  Her shows, Doing It For The Money and Still Doing It With Tracy Klass have been big Cape Town hits, along with her presence on 94.5 Kfm since 2003.  In fact, it was her stage performance that led her to radio when - while being interviewed on the station - she was asked to join the team.

Tickets for Comedy Central Presents Basketmouth Live at Parker’s are available atwww.parkerscomedy.com, direct from Computicket, or at the door at Parker’s Comedy & Jive, Montecasino, priced R120.

Comedy Central Presents BasketMouth Live at Parkers premieres on Comedy Central (DStv Channel 122) on Friday 14 June 2013 at 20:55 CAT.

Launched in sub-Saharan Africa just under 18 months ago, Comedy Central has successfully lured South Africa’s top comics into hosting its regularmonthly stand-up gig.  Among the many brilliant funnymen and women to grace the stage at Parker’s Comedy & Jive have been Chris Forrest, Kurt Schoonraad, Tumi Morake, Al Prodgers, Joey Rasdien, Barry Hilton, Loyiso Gola, Tats Nkon

A WATCH I LIKE

The Swiss watchmakers at Baume & Mercier have been at it since 1830, and that kind of pedigree has its benefits. For one thing, they know what they're doing. Like, really know what they're doing, crafting impeccably made timepieces with the best of them. For another, they have an extensive back catalog to look to when they're creating new models. And drawing upon that kind of history, well, it can work wonders.
Take the new Clifton collection. It was inspired by a 1950s specimen by the brand, not particularly shocking considering the simple, sophisticated mid-century aesthetic at play throughout the design. But still, it's a modern watch, larger — 41mm to 42mm — and more robust than its vintage forebears. Which is really just to say that it strikes an impressive balance, feeling at once classic and totally appropriate for this day and age — as well as the days and ages to come. Handy, since it's not at all unlikely that, should you choose to acquire one ($2,700-$6,300) you'll wind up passing it on to your son one day.

THE SECOND COMING OF BASKETBALL'S HI-TOP FADE

From left: Brandon Jennings, Iman Shumpert

NBA style, like the league itself, is constantly evolving. Shorts get baggier, arms get tattoo-ier — organic reflections of the changin’ times. Every so often the pendulum of taste swings back to the past and we get throwback jerseys, say, or old school logos. But the vintage look that's currently thriving has nothing to do with apparel. It appears that the hi-top fade is experiencing a revival.
Add carom left: J.R. Reid, Kenny Walker, Charles Smith
The cut first came onto the scene in the latter third of the 1980s, scraping the ceiling in videos from Kid 'n PlayBig Daddy Kane, and, yes, even Grace Jones. The hoopsters of this era who rocked the look included Kenny "Sky" Walker, J.R. Reid, Charles Smith, and Dominique Wilkins. By the time the mid-90’s rolled around, the hi-top went the way of the short shorts, giving way to subtler fades, cornrows, or whatever Dennis Rodman was doing. It seemed to be heady days of the hi-top were over.

Justin Bieber's been having a rough time lately. It seems he can't do anything these days. Guy can't even wish for one more fan without causing a ruckus. Us plebs could lay low for a few days and wait for the drama to blow over, but Biebs is arguably the biggest pop star on the planet right now. So what's a boy to do? Well, walk around in a Chanel-branded ski mask and send a picture of yourself wearing it out to your millions of followers on social media, of course. That's not creepy at all, and no one will ever recognize you. It's all very Spring Breakers, really. Hey, at least he ditched that spiked baseball cap.

TO DISCUSS: LEBRON JAMES'S FLORAL SWEATER

LeBron James is hardly a shy guy. He's a bold player and his sartorial choices are catching up to his athletic prowess. A perfect example of this would be the orange palm tree-print sweater that he wore during last night's postgame press conference after leading his team to victory on the court. Is it his best look to date? Definitely not. But once you get past the gaudy color and design (perhaps a nod to Miami?) we commend him on the trim fit and the smart choice of pairing it with a understated white button-down. And while detractors may have taken to the Internet to express their concerns, if James keeps playing like he did last night, i have a feeling everyone will forgive him of any perceived fashion offenses

YES IT IS WATER RESISTANT

Announced at CES in Las Vegas last month, the Xperia Z is Sony Mobile's first quad-core offering. Thanks to its impressive specs and well-implemented features, we consider it the best Sony handset currently in the market and have given it our Editors' Choice award.
Available in purple, black or white, the Xperia Z will retail in selected markets in Asia. In Singapore, it will be available at S$988 without operator subsidie
Sony has always made pretty handsets and the Xperia Z is no exception. Synonymous with recent Xperia models, the Xperia Z has a minimalist and symmetrical design with a rectangular shape and rounded corners.
For its size, the Sony handset's 146g weight isn't too heavy, even though it's heftier than the Apple iPhone 5 (112g), HTC Butterfly(140g) and Samsung Galaxy S III (S3) (133g). In fact, we were quite impressed by how light it felt in the hand the first time we picked it up. At 7.9mm, the Xperia Z is just a hair thicker than the iPhone 5's 7.6mm--but we like how the former's glass fiber polyamide frame makes it look more svelte
While I love the aesthetics of the handset, we find it literally a pain to hold. The straight edges on the back dig into our palms, which can be rather painful over a long commute--we would have preferred the gentle arc of the Xperia V and arc S instead.
Unlike the 5-inch similarly long HTC Butterfly, the Xperia Z's power button placement, on the side, makes it easier to reach. The power button--and the volume rocker beside it--also has a nice tactile feedback to it.
The microUSB charging port, microSIM and microSD card slots are sealed with water- and dust-tight covers, which is only a slightly annoying tradeoff for its IP57-rating. This means that the Xperia Z is resistant to dust and able to withstand depths of up to 1m underwater for 30 minutes. You could probably take the handset into the shower, but not swimming or to the beach

NIGERIAN DURU OLUWU NO 23/100 BLACK DESIGNERS IN HISTORY

Duro Olewu has been in the fashion game since 2004 where he made his name in London with his vibrant color palatte and pattern on pattern pairings, no wonder America's premier fashionista, Michelle Obama, has donned several pieces from his exuberant collections.
In 2005 Duro was discovered by then-Vogue editor Sally Singer, and Julie Gilheart formerly of Barneys. Needless to say, if you could garner the attention of some of the most influential and discerning eyes in the fashion industry, which brought him into the American market where his designs were quickly coveted by women all over the U.S. During the same year, his peer's back across the pond named him "New Designer of The Year," at the Bristish Fashion Awards which solidified his place as as a designer. Duro, who now shows at New York Fashion week, keeps to his same aesthetic and seventies-tailoring, and remains a hot ticket show on the fashion calendar

ALEXANDER McQUEEN LIVES ON

The collection by Alexander McQueen was particularly ambitious. It featured an art deco dragonfly patterned blazer (in gold and silver) paired with bronze, metallic-effect trousers, and a gold, silver and bronze blazer with square, block patterning
